Functional Nutrition Infinity Wellness Center
Fuel Your Body for Healing and Optimal Health
At Infinity Wellness Center, we believe that nutrition is the foundation of wellness. Our Functional Nutrition programs are designed to address the root causes of health issues by restoring balance and nourishing your body with the right foods and supplements. We take a personalized approach to nutrition that supports healing, boosts energy, and promotes long-term vitality.
Viewing your body as a whole system, functional nutrition uses a systems-oriented approach to patient-centered care. We may run blood tests, saliva tests for hormones, food allergy testing, and neurotransmitter tests, along with applied kinesiology/muscle testing to find the core root cause.
We shift the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more patient-centered approach. Functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms. it is common for Functional Nutrition practitioners to spend time with their patients, listening to their histories and looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and complex, chronic disease. In this way, we see good nutrition supports the unique expression of health and vitality for each individual.
Benefits of Functional Nutrition
1. Boosts Energy Levels: Optimizes nutrient intake to reduce fatigue and increase vitality.
2. Supports Weight Management: Targets underlying imbalances that contribute to weight gain or difficulty losing weight.
3. Enhances Digestion and Gut Health: Improves digestion, reduces bloating, and balances gut flora for better nutrient absorption.
4. Strengthens Immune Function Fortifies your body’s defense system against infections and chronic inflammation.
5. Balances Hormones: Addresses hormonal imbalances that can affect mood, metabolism, and overall wellness.
How is Nutrition Medicine Different from Conventional Medicine?
- While conventional medicine focuses on suppressing the symptoms of a medical condition, Functional Nutrition discovers and addresses its underlying causes.
- Unlike conventional medicine, we address the patient as a whole – not as an isolated set of systems and symptoms.
- We look at both external (environmental) and internal (lifestyle) factors to determine the best course of patient care.
Guaranteed Purity and Potency
Premiere and Quantum herbal products are sourced only from pristine growing places, including the central forests of India, South American plantations and deep central Mexico (far away from polluting cities and auto exhaust) to ensure they include no toxic chemical or pesticide residues (known hormone destroyers). Then every single container of incoming raw herb material is tested with a photoluminescent device which ensures that each and every container of raw material falls within a selected “circle of confidence.” This guarantees unprecedented quality and ensures no chemical contamination (from unscrupulous providers who may have added look-alike “fillers” to cut costs). This gives confidence that these products are toxic and chemical-free, truly the correct species, fresh and effective. The FDA and the USDA even consider this advanced technology to be solid evidence in court.
It is important to us to know that we are providing the best available resources to you, the patient. For that reason, we only work with companies that show their willingness to test raw materials before and after compounding, guarantee purity and potency, and ship with careful attention to detail. Please don’t waste your money on anything less. Also, what we use in the clinic are the highest grade nutrients. Most items we use can only be sold through a licensed health care practitioner.
Product regulation is a controversial topic right now. While we support the right to choose our preferred methods of health support and maintenance, we also must feel confident that products are clean and fresh, with no additives. There are many products sold at grocery stores, health food stores, and even doctors who aren’t aware of the problem that contain additives, fillers and other unknown and possibly toxic substances. If the manufacturer doesn’t test raw materials from vendors, carefully maintain sterile environments when packaging (all unregulated right now), let the product sit too long on a shelf without being utilized, or is shipped in unsuitable packaging for the climate, the product may not produce the results that it should.
Be especially careful when purchasing liquid vitamins, such as vitamin E or flax oils. As with any oil, it can easily become rancid in poor conditions. Ensure that it was packaged freshly, in a cool environment and shipped properly.
And please let me remind you, all the supplements in the world cannot combat negative thoughts, unhealthy lifestyles and overly stressful environments. One of the most vital steps in creating health is your diet. Drinking ample clean water, exercising 3 times weekly, having a committed form of spiritual practice, and observing conscious and subconscious thoughts that need attention or surrender will create more bliss and health in your body than any doctor could ever offer.
First, A Natural Delicious Diet
For the best balance of the body enjoy a diet rich in fresh organic vegetables (5-6 servings) and fresh fruits (1-2 servings) every day. Have 2-3 servings of clean protein daily, avoiding meats from animals that were fed hormones (which of course is all beef and many fish, unless they are specifically labeled as “hormone and antibiotic free”). Avoid refined carbohydrates such as white bread, rice, pasta (avoid any “white” food!) corn syrup, white potatoes, processed foods, aspartame and sugar. Please do eat good fats; use Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Grapeseed Oil, and incorporate essential fatty acids in your diet. Pure coconut oil is another great source of good fat. Healthy fats should comprise 30% of your diet daily. Eat tuna and salmon at least once a week (NOT Atlantic farm-raised salmon, which is more commonly found in your local grocery store and cheaper. It does not contain the fatty acids at levels needed by the body, as does wild salmon). Stay away from the hormone destroyers: soft drinks, foods grown with pesticides, coffee, foods which contain refined carbs, trans fats, junk food, fried food, hydrogenated oil or canola oil (which is mostly hydrogenated).
