 Frequently Asked Questions

What We Do and How?

As data driven functional medicine doctors, we look at your body from different aspects to bring balance. We focus on removing environmental toxins, infections, and hormones that are in excess, and adding vitamins, minerals, nutrients, and hormones you are in need of. By giving the body what it needs, and taking away what it does not, the body is able to heal. We truly believe that when given the proper environment, the body can heal. Your body is designed to heal!

How Do I Get Started?

Whether you are local to Austin or not, we can help!

VISIT #1 – Cost $535

The first visit includes the initial consultation via a Zoom call; this is an extensive time-line health history and symptom rating chart that we will develop together. In this appointment, we will take the information gathered to determine if your case is a good fit for our program. IF you are a good fit, we recommend which functional labs we need to run to get to the core root cause. If we determine you are not, we can make a recommendation or referral.

VISIT #2 – Cost $535

Your second consultation is called a Report of Findings, also our favorite day. This is where questions of what is causing yoursymptoms will be answered. It can be a very validating and emotional visit. Via telehealth, I always record this visit for you to have and review. It will ideally be 2-3 weeks after your initial visit. This is where we will review all your labs and recommend a treatment plan that is personalized and customized based on your body’s chemistry. If you agree with the treatment plan and choose to accept care, we will start you into The Infinity Way program right away.

Will I Need Functional Lab Testing? And What is the Cost?

Uncovering the Truth: Labs Don’t Lie

At Infinity Wellness, we know that identifying the root cause of health issues often requires more than just one test. Functional lab testing offers deep insights, but costs can vary from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. That’s why we’re committed to complete transparency in pricing—you’ll always have a clear understanding before any tests are run. With lab options starting at $455 and going up to $705 per test, we’ll help you navigate the necessary steps to uncover the answers that lead to lasting wellness.

If you’re seeking deep cellular healing or balance—particularly for fatigue, anxiety, or insomnia—it’s essential that we gather accurate data.  To support your healing, we offer a range of lab packages tailored to different levels of assessment, including:

  • Functional Blood Chemistry
  • Genetics/MTHFR Gene Defect
  • Lyme Disease/Co-Infections
  • Brain Chemicals/Neurochemicals
  • Sex Hormones Levels
  • Cortisol/Adrenal Function
  • Heavy Metals / Toxins
  • Mold Toxicity/Mycotoxins
  • Environmental Toxins/Glysophate
  • Micro-Nutrients - Vitamin and Mineral Levels

What if I Have Lab Work Already?

If you have any blood lab tests that are less than 90 days old, we can use those as a reference and starting point. However, unless you have been under the care of another functional medicine doctor, chances are the labs will not have the same data we are looking for to uncover your root cause. If you have a major diagnosis like Lyme Disease or MTHFR gene defect, please do give us a copy of the results to have on file. Please provide any existing labs several days in advance of your appointment so we have sufficient time to review those.

What Happens After I Order My Labs?

Labs are drop-shipped to the shipping address you provided and can take around 5-7 days to be delivered. It is very important that you follow the instructions that come with your lab(s). Please complete the labs as soon as you can. Results can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to complete depending on the lab type.

How Can You Help Me?

After we review your lab results, we’ll determine the best way to work with you through either a 3- or 7-month program. These programs are designed to give you practical, actionable steps to regain control of your health. Our team approach addresses healing from multiple angles—physical, mental, and emotional—ensuring you have the comprehensive support needed for a successful wellness journey. Together, we’ll guide you toward a healthier, more balanced life.

What Does The Infinity Way™ Program Entail?

In The Infinity Way™, we focus on restoring health to every organ system in the body. Each patient begins with our foundational healing protocol, designed to address the whole body. When you meet with your doctor each month, this foundational approach is further customized to your unique chemistry and lab results, ensuring a truly personalized plan.

Developed after two decades of clinical care by Dr. Tenesha Wards, The Infinity Way™ program combines comprehensive online modules with regular face-to-face consultations. You’ll engage with your assigned doctor and health practitioners in weekly and monthly sessions. The program modules guide you through whole-body healing, working systematically to restore and rebuild each organ system. From there, we focus on detoxifying the liver and clearing out underlying toxins and infections. Your doctor will then refine and tailor the program to meet your specific needs, providing a fully individualized path to wellness.

Do You Treat and Diagnose Conditions?

The traditional medical model diagnoses and treats specific conditions, while the functional medical model, which underpins The Infinity Way™, focuses on identifying root causes—“The Why” behind your symptoms. At Infinity Wellness Center, our doctors and practitioners work to uncover these root causes and empower you to remove obstacles to healing, supporting your body’s natural ability to restore itself. Our approach centers on guiding and coaching you through sustainable solutions for lasting health.

I’m Not Local to Central Texas, Can You Still Help Me?

We serve patients worldwide using Practice Better, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform for private, face-to-face virtual appointments. Labs are conveniently shipped to your doorstep with a prepaid return envelope, and for blood tests, we’ll provide a Labcorp requisition for a local visit. Our clients love the flexibility of virtual appointments, whether they’re at home, in the office, or even in the car!

Do You Work With “XYZ”?
Yes, we can help! Rather than focusing on a specific condition, we aim to identify and address the root cause of your symptoms. Our approach is personalized, using your medical history and lab data to create a treatment plan that targets underlying imbalances, so your body can heal naturally.
Do You Take Insurance?

Our holistic, functional approach to healthcare doesn’t fit within the traditional insurance model, which focuses on diagnosing and treating conditions, often with pharmaceuticals or surgery. Since we prioritize finding and addressing root causes rather than simply managing symptoms, this type of care isn’t covered by insurance. However, depending on your FSA or HSA plan, some costs may qualify for reimbursement. We’re happy to provide treatment codes for submission upon request.
